Welcome to the DITC Portal

DITC Portal services are delivered to you subject to the Terms set out on this page and are also subject to the standard Terms of Use and Online Data Protection Policy.

Terms relating to your use of the DITC Portal

The following Terms of Use are specific to the use of the DITC Portal:

  1. Your account

If you register to use the DITC Portal, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your email address and password and for restricting access to your computer to prevent unauthorised access to your account. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. If your user profile is for an entity rather than for an individual, the entity and all individuals who share the entity's email and password information for the DITC Portal shall be responsible for all risks associated with such sharing. You should take all necessary steps to ensure that the password is kept confidential and secure and should reset your password and inform the DITC immediately if you have any reason to believe that your password has become known to anyone else, or if the password is being, or is likely to be, used in an unauthorised manner.

Please ensure that the details you provide us with are correct and complete and inform us of any changes to the information that you provided when registering. The DITC reserve the right to refuse access to the Portal, terminate accounts, and remove or edit content at our discretion.

  1. Privacy Policy

Registered Users on the DITC Portal will be required to provide information in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations for the purpose of exchanging tax information pursuant to the international exchange agreements. This information is treated as confidential, but may be used for communication relating to reporting, compliance, or enforcement actions.

  1. Access to DITC Portal

The DITC will do our utmost to ensure that availability of the Portal will be uninterrupted and that content and services will be error-free. However, due to the nature of the technology, this cannot be guaranteed. Also, your access to the DITC Portal may be occasionally suspended or restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance, or the introduction of new facilities or services. We will attempt to limit the frequency and duration of any such suspension or restriction.

  1. Reporting a problem with the DITC Portal

If you have a problem with your use of the DITC Portal, please email the DITC Portal Team.

  1. Changes to Terms of Use

The DITC reserves the right to change these Terms of use at any time.

  1. Submission of Returns

The date and time recorded against any submitted return shall be the server date, time and time zone (this may not be the same as the time on the machine used to connect to the service).
